In this project, we had to design a heart valve that would allow water to flow in only one direction.
With my design, there is a sphere in the center of the cylinder. This sphere would move with the pressure of the liquid. There are two holes in the cylinder, one on each side. When the sphere hits the bigger hole, the sphere will block the hole, But when it isn't touching that hole, the liquid will flow freely though. Young's modulus CalculationAfter calculating the Young's Modulus, we came out with 17.512 Pa. for the inner tube.
